The Netherlands will be without their skipper Virgil van Dijk when they will host Estonia in their Euro 2020 qualifiers. Virgil will be missing the clash due to some personal reasons which have not been revealed yet. The Dutch have already qualified for Euro 2020 after their goalless clash against Northern Ireland on November 17, 2019. The Champions League-winning defender left the training camp after the match and will be unavailable for the Tuesday night clash. Dutch Football Association (KNVB) released a statement which read that the player will not play in the match due to "personal circumstances".

More about the news:
Virgil Van Dijk's absence won't make a huge difference to the Dutch as they have already sealed their place for the next year's finals. It is their first major competition since the World Cup 2014. The Netherlands are currently on the second spot of the Group C table with 16 points. They are only trailing by two points against the table-topper Germany. The Dutch have a chance to top the table if they win their next game against Estonia and Germany lose their clash against Northern Island.

However, Virgil van Dijk is likely to join Liverpool for their Premier League clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday. The £75 million worth defender has featured in every match for Liverpool this season and has carried his great momentum from the previous season. Liverpool are currently on top of the table and they will need all their players to be in top condition if they want to conquer their long cherished dream of a Premier League title in 30 years. Van Dijk won the UEFA Men's Player of the Year award for his outstanding performance for Liverpool in Premier League 2018-19 and in Champions League.
