"Waiting for the results of the swabs" - Pirlo on Ronaldo ahead of Verona

Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo said on Saturday that they are waiting for the result of Cristiano Ronaldo's latest swab test and that it is too early to say whether he will be able to play against Barcelona next week, should he test negative.

Ronaldo tested positive for COVID-19 while on international duty with Portugal earlier this month, and has been self-isolating in Turin since.

Juventus host Verona on Sunday, before facing Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday in Turin.

Both teams won their first Group G match this week.
