Mauricio Pochettino offers first comment on recent transfer drama of Brighton player Moises Caicedo
Mauricio Pochettino has also come with his first comment on the recent transfer drama of Brighton player Moises Caicedo. As per the reports of the British media, Caicedo has agreed to a deal with Liverpool which was a big blow for Chelsea, as they were also in negotiations with Brighton to bring the midfielder home. Pochettino was asked about the same in the press conference to which he said:
I never talk about players who don't belong to us. We are working hard to add more players to the squad and if we have some update to make for you the club will do. At the moment I will not talk about players who do not play for us. Like any club, we are trying to add more quality to reinforce our squad With Paul, Laurence and the owners, the relationship is really good.
Chelsea has lost plenty of big names like Cesar Azpilicueta, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, and Kalidou Koulibaly and has also brought in six new players. Mauricio Pochettino will have a big challenge on his hands to improve the team's performance in Premier League this year and take them to the seventh Premier League title.
