Zlatan Ibrahimovic does the Matrix challenge, shares video on Twitter
Ibrahimović on Friday, took to Twitter to share a video of him performing the Matrix Challenge. He further nominated Pogba, Djokovic and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Sweden football star, Zlatan Ibrahimović, on Friday, took to the micro-blogging website Twitter to share a video of him performing a freestyle football challenge called the Matrix Challenge. He also showed his incredible chest control and flexibility through the challenge. Ibrahimović, who currently plays for LA Galaxy in the Major League Soccer (MLS) of the United States Soccer Federation, has been quite active on social media with such challenges. The Sweden star who is known for his witty and boastful replies has played for some big clubs like Barcelona, Manchester United, PSG and AC Milan. Zlatan is currently tasting success with LA Galaxy as he is the second top goal scorer in the current season of the league.
Zlatan does 'The Matrix' challenge
On Friday, Zlatan tweeted a video of him doing the challenge and further nominated former fellow teammate and current Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, ace tennis player Novak Djokovic and the reigning UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. The Matrix challenge refers to an iconic scene from the 1999 sci-fi movie 'The Matrix'. In the 19-second video shared by Zlatan, he flicks the ball to control it with his chest as he bends and imitates the scene from movie in slow motion. Zlatan is one of the first football star to take up the Matrix Challenge.
'The Matrix' Challenge
The Matrix challenge is an imitation of the scene from 'The Matrix' movies where the character Neo played by Keanu Reeves dodges bullets fired at him in slow motion. The jaw-dropping scene as he dodges the incoming bullets by bending backwards with a steady foot on the ground, defying gravity has been talked about ever since the movie released.
