PKL 2019: U Mumba beat Haryana Steelers to advance to semi-finals
U Mumba defeated Haryana Steelers 46-38 on Monday, to reach the PKL 2019 semi-final 2 against Bengal Warriors at the EKA Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad.

U Mumba won the Eliminator 2 against Haryana Steelers on Monday, October 14. The match took place at the EKA Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad (20:30 IST). Abhishek Singh and Arjun Deshwal starred, earning U Mumba 16 and 15 points respectively. U Mumba will meet Bengal Warriors for the PKL 2019 semi-final 2 on Wednesday, October 14.

PKL 2019: U Mumba vs Haryana Steelers match results
Both teams opened the game with early bonus points. Though Prashanth Kumar Rai's Super Raid gave Haryana Steelers a three-point lead, U Mumba closed the gap between the scores and even acquired a momentary lead. Vikas Kale's defending and Vikash Kandola's raiding ended up sending more of U Mumba's men to the bench as the first half was coming to an end. However, 'Sultan' Fazel Atrachali finally came through with a successful tackle. Coupled with Abhishek's and Deshwal's series of successful raids, U Mumba went into the second half with a 20-15 lead after inflicting an all-out on Haryana Steelers.

After the second half started, Abhishek and Deshwal continued to score points for U Mumba, further cementing their lead. U Mumba enforced a second All-Out on Haryana Steelers in the sixth minute of the second half, gaining a 32-31 lead. Haryana Steelers made a comeback with back-to-back successful raids by Vinay and Kandola, inflicting an All-Out themselves. U Mumba's lead was reduced, but the team kept trying. Abhishek Singh's two-point raid put U Mumba back into the game with just five minutes left to go. U Mumba made sure to maintain their lead by killing the clock. Atrachali, Harendra Kumar and Young Chang Ko contributed some essential defence points. U Mumba won the match with a comfortable 46-38 victory.
