Despite current concern surrounding the spread of the new coronavirus - and whether the summer Olympics will go ahead - British cyclists Laura and Jason Kenny are using this week's Track World Championships in Berlin to make final preparations ahead of Tokyo.
The couple, who got married just after the 2016 Olympics, both said that the Worlds were a chance to assess their fitness and form against their competition ahead of the Tokyo Games which begin in five months.
Laura is already Great Britain's most successful female Olympian ever with four gold medals while Jason has won six golds so far, tied for the most by a British athlete alongside fellow track cyclist Chris Hoy.
Both are seeking to add to their respective collections in Tokyo.
The couple also became parents for the first time in August 2017 with the birth of their son Albie.
Laura said becoming a mother has given her a new perspective on cycling with Jason also admitting his preparations have been slightly different this year with the added responsibility of looking after Albie.
As for the coronavirus, Jason Kenny has to carry on with the work - irrespective of whether the summer Games go ahead.
"Not thought about it."
"We'll just keep our heads down and stay focused on what we're doing, really."
