Che vs Liv: Chelsea will be hosting Liverpool on Sunday, 22nd September. It will be their second clash of the season after a splendid UEFA Super Cup final.
Chelsea host Liverpool on matchday six of the Premier League on Sunday, September 22. Their last meeting was a full-on entertainer, as both teams were all square at full-time. The Reds, however, went on to win the match and clinch the UEFA Super Cup in August. Chelsea have won just one of their last nine Premier League meetings with Liverpool (D5 L3).
Liverpool have won all their Premier League matches so far this season and are currently holding the top position on the table. Chelsea under their club legend and new manager Frank Lampard, are trying to gain momentum as they are moving forward in the league. The young side had a dominating 2-5 win over Wolves in their last Premier League game. Both the teams will want their top players to step-up in the much-anticipated clash.
Chelsea vs Liverpool: Five key players to look out for
Sadio Mane
The Senegalese player is becoming a better player every week. Mane is on a roll with four goals already to his name this season. He bagged a brace against Newcastle the previous week and is very likely to score against Chelsea on Sunday. Mane has scored thrice in Liverpool's last two games against Chelsea, including a brace in their UEFA Super Cup tie. Sadio Mane has a chance to reach 50 Premier League career goals in the upcoming match and to become only the 10th player in Liverpool's history to achieve it.

Tammy Abraham
This Chelsea academy graduate has been Frank Lampard's first-choice striker since the start of the season. Apart from his missed penalty in the UEFA Super Cup against Liverpool, the 21-year-old has not put a foot wrong for Chelsea so far. He has scored seven goals in the season so far and is looking hungry for more. With a hat-trick in the last match, Abraham has scored at least twice in his last three Premier League games. Liverpool's defence will definitely not have it easy on Sunday.
