What happened between CM Punk and Jack Perry?

The match between Perry and Hook included a spot with a vehicle window in the middle of it. Perry stated as he turned to face the camera. “It’s real glass, cry me a river.” That comment appeared to be pointed directly at Punk, who had objected to Perry’s desire to use real glass on a recent episode of Collision.

On Sunday, following the preshow match, Perry went backstage and spoke with Punk. Although there are many different versions of what actually happened, eyewitnesses have confirmed that Punk and Perry went physical. It's crucial to remember that, as the chaos developed, AEW was only a few seconds away from hosting its biggest pay-per-view ever.

Despite the altercation Punk-Joe opened the AEW All-In

Punk and Samoa Joe were supposed to face off first in All In. However, after the altercation, it was decided to start the night with a six-man tag match between Jay White, Juice Robinson, and Konosuke Takeshita against Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, and Hangman Page. The six-man tag team competitors were ready to open the pay-per-view, but it wasn't necessary. After speaking with Punk, Samoa Joe opened the show as planned, according to numerous sources. To Punk and Joe's credit, their match went off without a hitch. For the suspended talents, the timing of the current probe makes everything more difficult. This week, AEW will have three live events in Chicago: Dynamite on Wednesday, Collision on Saturday, and the All Out pay-per-view on Sunday–and Punk’s presence in his hometown is a massive draw. As of right now, it is unknown how long the investigation will last.
