Ichi Ban wins the 2019 Sydney to Hobart

Ichi Ban was declared the overall winner of the Sydney to Hobart race on Monday (30th December) for the second time in three years.

Skipper Matt Allen and the crew of the TP52 were presented with the prestigious Tattersall Cup for the 75th edition of the race.

For Allen, it was a 30th appearance in the race, with the win bringing back plenty of memories of previous successes.

Gweilo was second overall followed by Quest.
