As India gears up to witness its first-ever NBA match in Mumbai, the Indian National Anthem for the first time will be played at an NBA game on Friday. Youtube sensation Bhuvan Bam will be singing the national anthem right before the game begins. The NBA games in India will kickstart from Friday and the first game will be played between Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers.

The Youtube sensation who is popular for his vines tweeted about it and said that he was honoured to receive the opportunity to sing the Indian national anthem at the NBA games. Bam also said that he was excited and filled with joy and that it is a really big day for him tomorrow.

After Donald Trump’s iconic announcement about NBA India’s event at ‘Howdy Modi’, Indian basketball fans are extremely thrilled to experience the first-ever NBA match to be held at Mumbai. Sacramento Kings and the Indiana Pacers will play two pre-season games against each other on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5 at the Dome, NSCI, SVP Stadium. The event marks the first games played by teams from any North American sports league on Indian soil. Once fans register, they will have a 3D layout out of the venue. VIP tickets will include opportunities to click photos and shoot free throws on the court. Tickets are available ranging from ₹4,500 to ₹85,000 each.
