NBA: Steph Curry congratulates Eric Paschall & Warriors on win
NBA: Stephen Curry congratulated the Golden State Warriors and Eric Paschall for their first home win this NBA season through his social media account.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry could not help but express his happiness after Eric Paschall led the team to a 127-118 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, November 5. Curry took to social media to congratulate his team. He said he is happy for the team and asked them to keep going. Curry recently broke his left hand during their game against the Phoenix Suns and will not be able to play for at least three months.

Paschall scored 34 points and 13 rebounds and helped the Dubs bag their first home win this NBA season. Paschall was on the court for 34 minutes, and shot 57.9% from the field, 66.7% from deep and 100 % from the charity stripe. The victory was even more significant as Warriors were without their star – D’Angelo Russell (ankle sprain), Draymond Green (torn finger ligament), Klay Thompson (knee injury).
Given the injuries, the Warriors had the odds stacked against them. Most experts and fans thought it was unlikely that Warriors would win the match, and had ruled them out of the playoffs this season as the team is young, and lacks experience. However, Steve Kerr addresses this issue in an interview with a sports channel and said that the Warriors would continue to give it their best despite the conditions. Warriors received an early blow as Kevin Durant left for the Brooklyn Nets. However, Paschall proved himself on the court. Fans filled the stadium with ‘MVP’ chants as Paschall won Warriors the game. He is also the first Warriors’ rookie since Curry (2010) to record a 30-10 game. Coincidently, it was also Paschall's birthday.
