PKL 2019: Telugu Titans and Puneri Paltan break Pro Kabaddi record
Another PKL record was broken on Thursday, October 3. Puneri Paltan edged out Telugu Titans with a massive 53-50 win, the highest tally of points in a PKL match
On October 3, fans witnessed another PKL record being broken. Puneri Paltan triumphed over Telugu Titans 53-50 in a pulsating encounter, which is the record for the highest tally of points in a single match. PKL season 7 has broken many records. The Haryana leg itself has witnessed five new records being set. Recently, Dabang Delhi KC's Naveen Kumar became the fastest player to score 400 raid points. On Wednesday, October 2, Pawan Sehrawat scored 39 raid points in Bengaluru's match against Haryana, breaking Pardeep Narwal's PKL season 5 record of 34 points.
PKL 2019: Telugu Titans vs Puneri Paltan
Taking place at Tau Devilal Sports Complex, Panchkula, this Puneri Paltan-Telugu Titan match was an onslaught of back-to-back super raids, super 10s and all-outs. Rakesh Gowda from Telugu Titans was the highest scorer with 17 total points. Akash Arsul completed his High 5, while Farhad Milaghardan scored a Super 10. Puneri Paltan's Manjeet and Sushant Sail earned 12 and 11 respectively. Their captain Surjeet Singh completed his High 5 with seven tackle points. With three super tackles and three super raids, the match had no dull moment. This game is also the first time both teams have achieved a total of 50 or more points for a PKL match.
PKL 2016: Patna Pirates vs Dabang Delhi KC
On February 25, 2016, Patna Pirates beat Dabang Delhi KC 67-34 at Thaygaraj Sports Complex, Delhi. Rohit Kumar was Patna's top scorer with 16 points was their top scorer along. Sandeep Narwal also contributed with 11 points. For Dabang Delhi KC, Surjeet Singh had 10 points, while Kashiling Adake scored 12 points.
