It’s been two months since the start of Pro Kabaddi League season seven. Dabang Delhi K.C. is currently leading the points table with 59 points, and Patna Pirates are at the last spot with only 25 points. However, Patna Pirates recently defeated Tamil Thalaivas all thanks to their star raider Pardeep Narwal who created history by becoming the first player to score 1,000 raid points in Pro Kabaddi League. Though Narwal created a record, he is still not the player with highest Raid point this season.
Here are top 3 raiders of Pro Kabaddi League 2019:
#3. Pardeep Narwal
Pardeep Narwal created history by becoming the first player to score 1,000 raid points in Pro Kabaddi League. However, he stands at the third position when it comes to scoring highest raid points this season. Until now, Pardeep Narwal has scored 158 points for Patna Pirates. The raider created history on the 45th day of Pro Kabaddi 2019. His raid points helped Patna Pirates defeat Tamil Thalaivas by 51-26 on Monday at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium in Kolkata. While talking about the same at the post-match conference, Pradeep said. "I am feeling really good to have crossed 1000 raid points. It’s the most by any player in the league, so I am happy."
#2. Naveen Kumar
Exhibiting an excellent performance for the last couple of matches, Naveen Kumar has a total of 174 raid points to his name. Naveen Kumar recently showcased a solid performance and scored 17 raid points for Dabang Delhi K.C. while going up against the Tamil Thalaivas. Because of Naveen Kumar’s performance, Delhi K.C. succeeds to become the first team to score 50 points at a match in Pro Kabaddi League 2019.
#1. Pawan Kumar Sehrawat
Pawan Kumar Sehrawat is at the top of raiding points table with 187 points. Pawan exhibited a stunning 29-point performance against the Bengal Warriors– the third-highest individual score by a single player in a match in Pro Kabaddi history. This proves that the raid machine of Bengaluru Bulls is at the peak of his game this season. Talking about his records, Pawan said, “I play for the team, not records. I play according to the match situation. Towards the end, our defence was outstanding. Records are not as important as the team is. So, ‘team-first’ is my mindset.”
