Frankie Edgar
Conor McGregor’s featherweight journey has been perfect in UFC and he is yet to lose a fight at featherweight. Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh feels that Frankie Edgar is a great fighter and a match against Conor McGregor will be great. Conor McGregor has been the featherweight champion and its time he should come back to his real division. Kavanagh also feels that Conor’s striking will be highly tested against someone like Frankie.
Justin Gatheje
Despite staying away from the UFC for such a long time, Conor is still the third-ranked lightweight while Gatheje is the number four ranked. Tony ranks number one and he is the rightful owner to a title shot. Thus, it leaves Conor and Justin as the perfect matchup at the moment.
