UFC: Khabib Nurmagomedov considers Mohamed Salah as perfect role model

Khabib Nurmagomedov is arguably one of the best lightweight martial artists of the world who has dominated every fighter he has faced in his career to date. Despite being one of the most feared men inside the octagon, Khabib is always known for his sportsmanship and respect towards his opponents. Though he was suspended for brawling after the infamous UFC 229 main-event against Conor McGregor, Khabib showed how great he is after his recent title defence against Dustin Poirier at UFC 242. This time, the Russian is all in praises for the Egyptian magician and world-famous footballer Mohamed Salah. Khabib, who himself is an idol for millions believes that Mohamed Salah is a great player and a perfect role model for his community.
UFC: Khabib praises Mohamed Salah
Khabib is a fan of football and in the past, he has met Cristiano Ronaldo. The Dagestani ‘Eagle’ said that he also follows Mohamed Salah but haven’t met him before. According to Khabib Nurmagomedov, Salah is a great player and he wants many role models like him for their community. Khabib further said that Salah perfectly reflects the image of their ethics, and feels that Allah is standing with Mohamed Salah. Khabib is a religious person and it is evident in all his octagon presences. Khabib has always given his god the top spot among all and he surely loved it when Mohamed Salah did the same on the football field.
“Our new generations need those who are like Salah to learn humility, no matter how famous you are,” said the UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

After two back to back successful title defences against Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier, lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will be facing Tony Ferguson in his next fight. Khabib currently holds a clean MMA record of 28 wins with no losses and he is surely going to enter the octagon as 'favourite' in his next fight.
