There are countless tag-team matches performed in WWE until now, but there are only some which went on to become famous. Here are three best in WWE history

WWE recently celebrated the 67th anniversary this year. This popular wrestling show has since provided the world with some great athletes and great shows. Wrestlers like John Cena, The Rock, The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Stone Cold, Randy Orton, and countless others showcased their talents at WWE SmackDown. Apart from the individual wrestlers, WWE is also known for its tag team matches. There are countless tag-team matches in WWE, but there are only some which went on to become famous.
WWE: Three best tag-team matches
Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit vs Edge and Christian vs The Dudley Boyz vs The Hardy Boyz in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWF Tag Team Championship at WWE SmackDown 2001
This match was the third TLC match ever and the only TLC match to ever air on SmackDown. CEO Vince McMahon had a grudge on the duo of Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit, so he made the Canadians defend their WWE tag team championship title in a TLC match against Edge and Christian, The Dudley Boyz and The Hardy Boyz. The match had some ‘WOW’ moments like the Dudleys giving Christian a 3-D off the top of a ladder, and Edge spearing Jericho mid-air. Though Benoit won the title, he left the ring with a rib injury.
WWE: Team Hell No and Ryback vs The Shield at TLC 2012
This was the first match of the Shield in WWE and it was against Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) and Ryback. The match was filled with action since the bell rang and every wrestler got a chance to shine. Moments like the Shield delivering a triple powerbomb to Ryback and Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins giving a double suplex to Bryan made the trio what they are today. The Big Dog taking down Kane and spearing him to the barricade showed the actual power of Roman Reigns and helped his team win the match.
WWE: Edge and Christian vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. The Hardy Boyz for the WWF Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 17
This match was a pure treat to for WWE fans. In this match, these wrestlers took their bodies to its extreme physical limit and treated it like some crash-test dummies. According to WWE itself, this match is the best tag-team match ever played in WrestleMania history. On the ‘Grandest Stage of Them All’ all the six superstars clashed against each other to win the WWE Tag Team Title. This match was memorable from the start as the match saw interruption from Lita, Rhyno, and Spike Dudley. Every weapon was also used throughout the match, including chair and dozens of tables being smashed to bits. Edge and Christian managed to win the match by knocking Matt Hardy off the ladders/table set up in the centre of the ring.
