WWE Crown Jewel 2019: Team Hogan to square off against Team Flair
The 2019 WWE Crown Jewel will see Hulk Hogan's five-man team go against Ric Flair's five-man squad. Let us take a look at the details the duo revealed on RAW.

This Monday Night's RAW Season Premiere was full of surprises and beginnings of interesting storylines. While a merciless Brock Lesnar thrashed Rey Mysterio and his son Dominick, Rusev's wife Lana kissed Bobby Lashley right in front of Rusev. Another major update was that Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair will be coaching their respective teams for the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel. Let us look at all the details.
Five vs Five
On this Monday Night's iteration of Miz TV, the Hulkster and the Nature Boy appeared along with the Miz as they talked about their rivalry through the years and almost exchanged blows. Following these antics, both Hall of Famers admitted that they had respect for each other but they could add another jewel to the crown of their legacy. It was at this moment The Miz announced that both superstars would coach their own five-member teams for WWE Crown Jewel. These teams would face each other at the event.
Hogan announced that his captain would be 'The Beast Slayer' and current WWE Universal Champion, Seth Rollins. Meanwhile, Flair revealed that his captain would be former 'Evolution' teammate Randy Orton. Randy and Seth then squared off in an impromptu match where it got revealed that Baron Corbin would be a part of Team Flair and Rusev would be a part of Team Hogan.
Crown Jewel
The Crown Jewel PPV is a special show. The first edition of Crown Jewel took place in 2018 where Shane McMahon ended up winning the WWE World Cup tournament. The event saw Shawn Michaels coming back to the ring as DX faced The Brothers of Destruction in a Tag Team match. Due to the controversies surrounding Saudi Arabia and its alleged violations of human rights, top WWE performers like John Cena and Daniel Bryan had reportedly boycotted the show.
