WWE has hosted many stars over the years; the celebrities have visited WWE and have given the fans many moments of amusement. Here are the top four appearances
For the fans, WWE has been one of the most entertaining wrestling platforms over the years. Hollywood has been no stranger to the happenings of WWE Raw and SmackDown, hence, actors have made a number of appearances on WWE. Some celebrities visit WWE to either promote an event or simply just to have a good time. Regardless of their intentions, the fans have always welcomed celebrities. The celebrities, on the other hand, have never failed to give amazing moments. Here are four of the most memorable moments when celebrities visited WWE.
WWE: Four memorable WWE guest appearances
Donald Trump
USA President Donald Trump is one of the celebrities who has appeared on WWE and been inducted to the Hall of Fame. He even has his own bio page on the WWE website. However, the most famous appearance of his came at WrestleMania 23 after Mr McMahon challenged Trump to a “Battle of Billionaires” with the stipulation that the loser of the match would have his head shaved bald on live TV. After Trump-backed Bobby Lashley beat Mr McMahon’s Umaga, the WWE Chairman lost his hair in the centre of the ring to the now 45th President of the United States.
Snooki
Nicole “Snooki” is an American reality star, author and dancer of Jersey Shore. She once made an appearance as the guest hostess of Raw in 2011. She attacked the superstars inside the ring and backstage. She wasn’t just done there, she competed at WrestleMania XXVII the same year and teamed up with WWE stars John Morrison and Trish Stratus to defeat Dolph Ziggler, Layla, and Michelle McCool who appeared with Vickie Guerrero at ringside.
Stephen Amell
The Arrow star made his initial appearance on Raw in 2015 and stayed in and out of the scene for the entire year. After a confrontation with Cody Rhodes, the two had a few exchanges in and out of the ring. Later on, Triple H announced a tag-team match for SummerSlam 2015 where the team of Stephen Amell and Neville took on Stardust and King Barret in a winning effort. Amell was awarded a Slammy for the 'Celebrity Moment of the Year' the same year for his dive onto Stardust during the match. He took on Christopher Daniels at the ALL IN event in 2018 but lost the match.
Hugh Jackman
The Hollywood Superstar bestowed the WWE with his presence on April 28, 2014, edition of Raw. He was joined in the ring by Dolph Ziggler, and after a few moments, Magneto interrupted the superstars. Damien Sandow in Magneto’s get-up came out to put down the Wolverine. Things didn’t end well for Sandow, as he was hip-tossed by the Hollywood A-lister and then Zig-Zagged by Dolph Ziggler to end the segment.
