WWE News: Goldberg would like to face Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman

Bill Goldberg, the legendary WWE/WCW Superstar, has named the two current WWE Superstars he wants to face. Goldberg makes mention of the same in an interview with Denise Salcedo from Instinct Culture at the Blue Carpet event which was a part of the 20th anniversary of Smackdown.

Goldberg also speaks about his career path and how WWE Hall-of-Famer Hulk Hogan inspires him. Let us take a look at what Goldberg said.

"Would like to face Roman and Strowman!"

Goldberg was asked about the WWE Superstars from the current lot that he wishes to face. He immediately replied with - "Who would I not want to face?" Goldberg later added that Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman would be his top picks. He also playfully called the match with Roman as an 'internal rivalry', referring to the rivalry their alma-maters share. Goldberg hails from the University of Georgia while Roman Reigns is a Georgia Institute of Technology alumni.

"It is not about landing the fifty punches, it is about landing one good punch."

Goldberg further reflects on his time with the WCW, which was the WWE's biggest rival in the late 90s before the latter proceeded to acquire the former. It is then that he made his way to the WWE and made his presence felt. The WWE Hall-of-Famer also talks about how Hulk Hogan is his major source of inspiration when it comes to branding his character in WWE. He adds that he always had a bigger arsenal of moves but did not see the need to use them if lesser moves still got the job done. "The shortest distance from Point A to Point B is a straight line", Goldberg added.

When will Goldberg appear next?

Given his sporadic appearances in the WWE, the timings of Goldberg's next appearance or match are not confirmed yet. Goldberg's last match was at the SummerSlam PPV 2019 where he defeated Dolph Ziggler.
