WWE waiting for 'the right moment in time' to give monstrous push to fan-favourite: Report

While superstars like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Brock Lesnar are still WWE's most prized possessions plus, Cody Rhodes has been receiving an extraordinary reception ever since he stepped back in the ring. Aside from them, a superstar has been knocking on the doors of the mainstream from quite a bit, and fans have also been demanding a major push for him. Evidently, a term popularised by John Laurinaitis, "people power", has come into effect as the wrestler is set to receive a boost in the squared circle.

LA Knight's eventual rise

On the final SmackDown before last month's pay-per-view WWE Money in the Bank, the UK crowd went bananas when LA Knight's theme hit the arena. That was the extent of the gradual intrigue which was been building around Knight and since then he has embraced a significant rise in his popularity. At SummerSlam 2023, a similar sort of ovation is expected as LA Knight will be initiating the show along with Shaemus.

Although Knight has been put on a pedestal, he is yet to be relieved from the somber light and given a premier space. And reportedly that is going to happen soon. According to a recent report by PWInsider, there are plans in place to give LA Knight a momentous push and the management is waiting "for the right moment in time" to put a launch pad on the 40-year-old veteran.

A potential push would mean LA Knight will begin to dominate his opponents in the ring and start acquiring victories. Moreover, he could also enter a title scene. Also, what will be interesting to witness is what rivalries he will be a part of. A feud against Austin Theory is on the cards and the next few weeks could present a clear picture regarding what's in store for LA Knight.
