Roger Federer responds to Indian fan over favourite jersey number
The 38-year-old, Swiss tennis star, Roger Federer took to Twitter on Monday and responded to a question from an Indian fan, over liking jersey number 88.

The 38-year-old, Swiss tennis star, Roger Federer took to Twitter on Monday and responded to a question from an Indian fan. His Indian fan asked him, rather demanded an answer, in a tweet, enquiring about Federer’s choice of favourite ‘chest number’ for his jersey. His fan, Varatharajan, asked this question in the eventuality of tennis jersey having a ‘chest number’. Federer in his reply to the fan, apologised first and then later in his reply to Varatharajan, mentioned that his favourite number was ‘88’. The tennis star also reiterated that he was busy selecting his new profile picture on Twitter. Federer who has been making news over his tweet requesting his followers for a suggestion over a new profile picture finally changed it on Monday.

The profile picture request
Roger Federer, a very keen responder to his fans, on Friday, October 5, replied to one of his fans requesting for a changed cover and profile picture. The fan had tweeted by saying that it's been a long time since Federer had changed the pictures from his official account. In response to this, Federer said that he ‘totally’ agrees with the request and publicly asked all his fans to give him good options from the available lot. Post this incident, Federer received multiple suggestions for a new profile picture.

Federer selected a profile picture on Monday and finally uploaded it on his Twitter. The new display was a picture of him from childhood. The numerous suggestions from his fans included the pictures from his childhood, his games, and his family. Subsequently, when he was replying to his Indian fan, he ended up mentioning that he was busy with selecting a display for his profile.
