WWE: AEW-bound Jake Hager says he was unhappy with his previous brand

Jake Hager earlier signed a contract with AEW and recently in an interview with a wrestling website talked about his more than a decade long WWE career.

Jake Hager aka. Jack Swagger is currently living his mixed martial arts dream while also wrestling for AEW. Hager earlier signed a contract with AEW and recently in an interview with a wrestling website talked about his more than a decade long WWE career. Hager started the interview saying that he is really happy these days, he is working for AEW with doing what he loves that is practicing MMA.

Jake Hager talks about WWE

When asked about his time in WWE, Hager said that he is very thankful for the run that he had in WWE, but towards the end, when Bully Ray Dudley was around, he was very unhappy. He said that he didn't know how to make the changes. How to use his hard work to make the changes that he needed to make to get to where he wanted. Talking about his current situation, Hager said that he is feeling so refreshed after being out of there and in the current situation.

Jake Hager on AEW and his MMA dream

At the end of the interview, Jake Hager revealed that he was planning for three years since he left WWE to go into pro fighting and make a name for himself. He said that when he decided to become a pro-wrestler, AEW approached him and they signed a contract. He said that he is still fighting in Bellator, which he is really grateful for and will keep on practicing MMA. He said that when he was in WWE, he used to be on the road for 250 days a year. These days he goes out, he takes his kids to school every single day.
