Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez feels that the fight between him and Brock Lesnar in the WWE ring has been in making for nine years. Cain Velasquez is new to the wrestling universe but he surely knows what it takes to take The Beast down. WWE fans were thrilled to see Cain Velasquez enter the arena and thrash Brock Lesnar in the SmackDown FOX debut and the real deal is still in store for the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel.
WWE: Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar meet again
Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar faced each other for the first time in UFC 121 main event. Brock Lesnar entered the octagon as UFC Heavyweight champion but Cain knocked the title out off him in the very first round. UFC fans desperately wanted to see a re-match between them but unfortunately, it did not happen. Well, it did happen actually, Cain and Brock have come full circle and they will meet each other once again on October 31 at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
WWE is a different universe and Brock Lesnar is one of the most dangerous men in wrestling. A lot of fans consider that Cain Velasquez being new to wrestling entertainment will face a loss but Cain Velasquez surely doesn't agree. It seems that Cain Velasquez is taking this up as more than a fight and he wanted to face Lesnar too. They will be fighting inside the WWE ring after long nine years and the Mexican believes that the match has been nine years in making. In a way re-match between these two giants is surely going to excite wrestling-entertainment fans and MMA fans at the same time.
WWE: Will Cain fight more in WWE?
Velasquez has not yet disclosed about his WWE contract in details. WWE fans may not see him again after the fight with Lesnar gets over but it won’t be shocking if WWE CEO Vince McMahon decides to keep Cain Velasquez in the WWE roster. Cain Velasquez has been out of UFC since his TKO loss against Francis Ngannou and his wrestling debut has already caught a lot of attention. So, can we expect the third encounter between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez? Not until we get through the much-awaited Crown Jewel and see what happens in Riyadh.
