WWE: John Cena reveals he was wrong about The Rock in the past

John Cena has stated that he was wrong about Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and claimed that he was ignorant when he said that The Rock does not love WWE in the past. Both, John Cena and The Rock are two of the most popular superstars to have entered the WWE ring and there has been a steady competition between them all the time. After becoming a superstar wrestler, Dwayne Johnson made his ways into the world of cinema and became equally successful over there. John Cena did the same thing and made a lot of movie appearances with big-budget projects after achieving everything in the WWE universe.

WWE: John Cena on ‘The Rock’

The Rock and John Cena have a long history in WWE which gave us two back to mack Wrestlemania main events in Wrestlemania 28 and Wrestlemania 29. The Rock defeated John Cena in Wrestlemania 28 but the 15-time World Champion avenged his loss in the second encounter at Wrestlemania 29 main event fight. They shared a huge rivalry in the past and John Cena felt that The Rock does not love WWE since he leaves the organisation pretty often for shooting his films. However, things have changed and in a recent interview with US media, John Cena admitted that he was wrong. According to Cena, he was wrong and ignorant back then.

"When you're filming, there is simply no way to be with WWE. You just can't. Even when we don't film on Sundays, if I come back for a weekend show and get hurt or break my nose, I could jeopardize the entire film." Said John Cena

John Cena himself is no longer a regular face in WWE and only appears on special occasions. After The Rock, 'Mr You Can’t See Me' has turned his attention towards films.
