WWE NXT Results: The OC brutalises the ERA; Baszler defeats Kai

This week’s WWE NXT started with a bang as The OC came to the black-and-gold brand show to take revenge. The OC also featured in the main event of the show as they faced the trio of Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee and Matt Riddle. In the end, Finn Bálor and Adam Cole also made their presence felt as they took the last hit on the RAW superstars. Elsewhere, Rhea Ripley chose the final member of her team for the upcoming first-ever Women’s WarGames Match at TakeOver. This week’s NXT was filled with character-defining matches and some incredible build-ups ahead of the upcoming Survivor Series PPV.

WWE NXT: The OC brutalises The Undisputed ERA

Before the show began, The OC attacked the Undisputed Era backstage and left them lying unconscious. After returning from the break, commentator Mauro Ranallo recapped all the incident to the viewers as AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson made their way to the ring. The Phenomenal One announced that he was taking over NXT and is ready to fight anyone who stands against him. Write then, Tommaso Ciampa came in and brought out two friends, Keith Lee and Matt Riddle, as back up. The trio challenged The OC for a match, which the RAW superstars accepted.

WWE NXT results: Shayna Baszler vs. Dakota Kai

At the start of the match, Shayna Baszler was caught off guard by Dakota Kai but was quick to recover and brutalise Kai. The NXT women's champion kept hitting Kai on her leg, but The Captain of Team Kick kept on fighting back. In the end, Kai got caught in the Kirifuda Clutch and tapped out after being unable to reach the ropes.

WWE NXT results: The OC vs. Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee and Matt Riddle

The Six-Man Tag Team Match between Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee & Matt Riddle and The OC ended in chaos after Balor and Cole interrupted the match. The match took a bad road when Lee sent AJ Styles crashing into the referee. At the end of the match, Ciampa seemed to have the match in his hand with Styles set up for The Fairytale Ending until Bálor entered, distracting The Blackheart long enough for Styles to escape. AJ Styles then took advantage of the moment and tried to end the match, but was interrupted by the NXT champion.
