NXT may have landed the first punches, but The OC made sure that Raw fired back as they visited the black-and-gold brand show. Before the show began, The OC attacked the Undisputed Era backstage and left them lying unconscious. The trio then made their way to the ring and The Phenomenal One announced that he is going to take over NXT and is ready to fight anyone who stands against him. Tommaso Ciampa who didn’t like the comments made by Style, came in with his two friends, Keith Lee and Matt Riddle. The NXT trio challenged The OC for a match, which the RAW superstars accepted.

The six-man Tag Team Match ended in chaos after Balor and Cole interrupted the match. The match saw some high-flying moves, but when Ciampa seemed to have the match in his hand with Styles set up for The Fairytale Ending until Balor entered, distracting The Blackheart long enough for Styles to recover and deliver a Pele kick to the former NXT champion. Balor then picked up Riddle and punished him with a 1916 DDT on the outside. Styles and Balor then shared some hand gestures that seemed to suggest an alliance or at least a truce between the wrestlers.
The Phenomenal One then turned to Ciampa and looked to finish the match by delivering his special move, but NXT Champion Adam Cole came in to avenge OC's ambush on The Undisputed ERA. He put down AJ Styles by flooring The United States Champion with a superkick. With Styles down, Cole moved his focus to his Tommaso Ciampa and kicked rival in his injured neck. The night ended with NXT Champion standing tall in front of Ciampa’s unconscious body.
