WWE: Randy Orton wanted to work with The Revival; Vince McMahon denied

WWE: Randy Orton liked The Revival's company so much that he personally pitched a storyline to WWE Chairman Vince McMahon about making the trio into a team.

A few weeks ago, Randy Orton was seen teaming up with The Revival to face The New Day on RAW and SmackDown. Though it was an unusual selection, Orton really loved working with Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. According to reports, Randy Orton liked their company so much that he personally pitched a storyline to Vince McMahon about making the trio into a team. But, the Apex predator was not successful.

According to the reports by a wrestling website, the WWE Chairman rejected the idea Orton pitched as after the draft ‘The Viper’ was drafted to RAW, while The Revival moved to SmackDown. According to sources, McMahon said that the trio being in two different brands, it will make be hard for the storyline to move smoothly. After this news went viral, the rumours of Randy Orton leaving WWE got even bigger.

WWE: Randy Orton may move to AEW

The news of Randy Orton moving to AEW has been going around for a while now. And 'The Viper' not showcasing enough talents in the recent episodes of RAW has fueled these rumours even more. Not only that, Orton recently posted a picture on Instagram which may also tease Orton’s departure from the company. In the picture, Orton can be seen posing with an elevator tag which reads “ELITE LEVEL”. Now, that may mean a lot of things, but the caption and the people Orton tagged in the picture grabbed everyone’s attention.

Orton shared the Instagram post with the caption, “tick tock tick tock,” which may suggest that he is possibly counting down the days left on his contract. Orton also tagged wrestlers like Scott Dawson, Dash Wilder, Luke Harper, Riddick Moss, and Elias on the post. He also tagged AEW superstars Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho which raised many eyebrows. AEW superstar, Chris Jericho took notice to Orton’s post and replied by writing, “Send in a tape and some pix and I’ll see what I Can do.”
