This week’s WWE RAW will see the return of the 'Luchador' Rey Mysterio. After taking an unnecessary punishment from Brock Lesnar, Rey Mysterio will arrive at WWE RAW after being out of the Red brand show for almost three weeks. Many believe that the ultimate underdog may come into the ring to demand a Universal Championship match against Seth Rollins that he never got. Whatever happens, fans would love to hear what the masked man has to say on the show.
WWE RAW: What happened?
After coming back to the WWE, Rey Mysterio notched up his biggest victory by winning the fatal-5-way match and becoming the No.1 contender to face Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship. But on the day of the match, 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar arrived in the ring and obliterated both Rey Mysterio and his son Dominick. Because of that, Mysterio was not able to play the match and since then, he was not seen on the red band show. However, he made many appearances on SmackDown to take his revenge from Brock Lesnar.
WWE RAW: Rey Mysterio’s revenge
After getting punished by Lesnar, Mysterio arrived on the debut episode of SmackDown with his friend and Brock’s former rival, Cain Velasquez. Though he was not able to punish the beast himself, he looked excited to see the fear in Lesnar’s eyes. After coming in the ring, Velasquez punished Lesnar by delivering several punches. Lesnar then fled from the ring with Paul Hayman and his WWE Championship belt. The situation between Lesnar and Velasquez grew so much that WWE later announced a match between the two for the WWE Championship. The two are scheduled to face each other at the Crown Jewel PPV in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Thursday, October 31, 2019.
