WWE: Seth Rollins slams reporter, calls him a ‘vindictive liar’

Seth Rollins is currently the face of WWE and whenever he does something it makes the news. But sometimes people post a wrong thing about the former WWE Universal Champion, which Rollins is quick to point out. Recently, Rollins slammed a wrestling reporter when he shared a news Rollins was not a part of. Tagging the reporter on Twitter, the Architect pointed out the mistakes made by the reporter and even called him a vindictive liar.

Seth Rollins slammed the wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter for reporting that the Beast slayer gave a “rah-rah” speech to the audience on Monday. In a podcast, Meltzer mentioned that the speech was given during a talent meeting before Raw, which was held to discuss the travel issues WWE faced while returning from Saudi Arabia. The Story mentioned that Rollins gave a good speech to keep the relationship between Saudi Arabia and WWE strong.

After this podcast went viral, a Twitter war between Rollins and Meltzer occurred. The next day Meltzer asked for Rollins’ forgiveness and tweeted that he would like to retract a comment from both Monday’s daily update and Monday’s post-Raw Wrestling Observer Radio, regarding Seth Rollins and the meeting Vince McMahon held with talent on Wednesday before Raw. Meltzer added that in the podcast, he had discussed on WOR that Rollins had spoken at the meeting, but he has since said on Twitter and released a statement to Fightful that he did not. Meltzer then apologised for the error and assured that this mistake will not be done again.

Earlier, after hearing the podcast, Rollins took to Twitter and expressed his anger after Monday’s Raw. The RAW superstar took to Twitter and called out Dave Meltzer for spreading lies. Seth Rollins wrote that Meltzer is a vindictive liar and accused him of spreading lies. Rollins revealed that he gave no speech during or after the meeting. Meltzer responded to the tweet by saying, “Very sorry on this. I don’t want to spread misinformation.”
