WWE: Shayna, Rhea named team captains for the Women’s WarGames match

As announced earlier, the first-ever Women’s WarGames Match will take place in the upcoming NXT Takeover which is scheduled to happen on November 23, 2019 (November 24 in India). NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley have been named team captains for the upcoming match, which is known to bring out the ruthless side of every superstar. The match was announced by NXT General Manager William Regal after all the major NXT women superstars came to the ring to fight each other.

WWE NXT: Women’s WarGames Match announcement

After Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai were defeated by the Kabuki Warriors, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Jessamyn Duke came out to the ring to deliver more punishment to Nox and Kai. They were soon interrupted by Rhea Ripley, but Io Shirai and Bianca Belair stopped Ripley from the rescue. Soon Candice LeRae came to the ring to rescue Ripley. After all the hell broke loose in the ring, William Regal came in and stopped all the wrestlers with the help of security. After regaining control of the ring, Regal said, “I have only one solution for this, WAR GAMES.” After hearing Regal’s announcement, fans started cheering and expressing their happiness for the upcoming Takeover match.

WWE NXT: Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox vs The Kabuki Warriors

After defeating Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke last week, Dakota Kai and Tegan Nox earned a chance to face WWE Women's Tag Team Championship The Kabuki Warriors. The match started with The Kabuki Warriors taking over the match from the start. Asuka and Kairi Sane kept on targeting Kai’s injured right foot and made it hard for her to make the tag. Kai somehow recovered and gave a hot tag to Nox. Nox displayed an excellent performance but was unable to pin The Empress of Tomorrow. Nox then tagged Kai and Asuka caught her with the green mist. Kairi Sane then landed the InSane Elbow for the win.
