WWE Survivor Series: NXT superstar Johnny Gargano out of the upcoming PPV

WWE NXT superstar Johnny Gargano will not be medically cleared to compete at NXT Takeover: WarGames or the upcoming WWE Survivor Series event. He was rumoured to fight against Finn Balor, who attacked him on the NXT Edition of WWE. He suffered a neck injury when he was attacked by Finn Balor three weeks ago on WWE NXT.

Ryan Satin broke this news on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, episode of WWE Backstage on FS1. However, Johnny Gargano was not officially scheduled to fight against Balor at TakeOver: WarGames but Ryan speculated that he would fight Balor at the WWE Network special event. The main event is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2019.
