New England Patriots' Antonio Brown's NFL season may be over as he may not be expected to return. According to a report from a leading media publication, Brown is reportedly scheduled to meet with the NFL on Thursday, but it doesn't look like the meeting will change much between the two parties.

Antonio Brown sexual assault case

Brown, who is a seven-time Pro Bowl receiver, was accused of sexual assault and rape by his former trainer. According to US-based reports, Britney Taylor – who accused Brown of sexual assault on multiple occasions – previously worked as Brown's trainer. The two met while they were attending Central Michigan and Taylor was a gymnast. The lawsuit says Brown sexually assaulted her twice in 2017 and then forced himself on her and raped her in 2018.

According to the report, Brown – who has not been suspended or placed on the commissioner’s exempt list – is currently being investigated for several claims of sexual assault made against him in a civil lawsuit filed in Florida. The New England Patriots released him on September 20, and Brown has been a free agent ever since.
