The 56-year-old claimed that the activity was a result of a hack.
Gilbert Arenas Takes a Swipe at Shannon Sharpe
On Wednesday, a mysterious live video was shared through former NFL Shannon Sharpe's Instagram story. The clip featured a white wall with explicit audio being played in the background. Sharpe denied all the assertions regarding the post and claimed to have been hacked. Those tracking the developments on the subject did not buy the explanation rendered by Shannon Sharpe. At the same time, many are off the view of how could a podcast host agree to have his sexual encounters recorded.
As opinions are flowing about the matter, former NBA player Gilbert Arenas took a swipe at Sharpe. Using the X medium he wrote: "Need one of yall to hack my IG live"
While Arenas did not mention Sharpe's name, neither tagged him but given the timing he has made the sub-tweet, it is touted to be in relation to the matter of Sharpe's incident.
Will Shannon Sharpe Face Repercussions?
Considering Shannon Shape is employed by ESPN, a family-friendly network owned by Disney. The audio puts Sharpe in a bad spot even though his face isn't visible in the clip, the company may not take this well. Owing to its tight social media policies, the company may not take this well. There is a precedent of Paul Pierce, who got fired by ESPN right after sharing a live Instagram video of frolicking at an adult party.
