In a huge blow to the Dallas Mavericks, the injury concerns around Luka Doncic continue to worsen as he has picked up another injury during the NBA Finals against Boston Celtics.  

Luka Doncic and Dallas Mavericks find themselves in a deep hole in the NBA Finals as they have lost the first two games at the TD Garden. Now the series shifts to American Airlines Center in Dallas, and the Mavericks to need to find some answers otherwise they will be blown apart in the series and the Boston Celtics will win their 18th NBA title.  

Ahead of a must win Game 3 in the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic himself has given a major update on whether he is fit enough to play in Game 3 against Boston Celtics or not.

Luka Doncic Injury Update

Ahead of Game 2 at TD Garden, the Slovenian international had picked up a thoracic contusion to his chest to add to his already sore ankle and knee. However, Luka did play in Game 2 loss against Celtics and had himself a 30 point triple double. 

Down 2-0 in series, Doncic spoke on his injury ahead of game 3 and said to Grant Afseth, “I feel good. I don’t want to give any more details. But I feel good”.

This comes as a massive relief to Dallas Mavericks who are still hopeful that their team can turn around their shooting slump and salvage the series in the finals and still try to win the cup. 

As per the latest injury report of Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic is listed as probable is expected to be ready to play the game against Boston Celtics.

Luka Doncic looks to cut down on turnovers

A key reason the Dallas Mavericks are 2-0 down in the NBA Finals is their woeful three point shooting and their heavy numbers of turnovers in the game.

Despite his thirty point triple double in the last game and being the only Maverick that showed up, Luka Doncic had eight turnovers. Luka Doncic took the blame of the loss on himself and ensured that he has to take care of the basketball a lot better to not put his team in trouble defensively.
