NBA: Russell Westbrook thinks James Harden is unmatchable, stats make Jordan comparison

In a recent interview with a sports channel, Houston Rockets' James Harden and Russell Westbrook spoke about each other, and how well the other player plays. Harden talks about the team and their improved defence. Westbrook praises James Harden, saying that Harden's greatness is not normal.

Russell Westbrook started by saying that most people start to normalise greatness after they see it often. However, he thinks it is not normal as no one else can do what James Harden does. Westbrook further adds that if what Harden did was normal, everyone would do it. According to Westbrook, Harden is one of the best offensive scorers in NBA history as he can score at a high level in different ways.

When James Harden was interviewed, he said that he feels their defence has improved and has helped them win. Harden also averaged at 36.1 points last season, which is most by anyone ever since Michael Jordan averaged at 37.1 points during NBA 1986-87. When asked about it, Harden said that he only wants to win matches and will do whatever is needed to bag the win. Harden has scored a minimum of 35 points in each Houston Rockets game during their winning streak. Harden is currently averaging at 39.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 7.6 assists while Westbrook is averaging at 21.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 7.1 assists.
