This week's SmackDown gave WWE fans another confirmed match – Bray Wyatt 'The Fiend' vs Daniel Bryan for a Universal Championship fight. Miz TV had Bryan as a guest, where the latter was accused of changing. The host also spoke about Bryan's internal struggle. Mis also guessed that The Fiend probably attacked Bryan because he is now a washed-up former WWE champion. Bryan reacted to Miz and said people do not understand mental instability and passion combined.

However, Wyatt and Firefly Fun House interrupted Bryan. They told him to mind his manners when Wyatt is not around. They both argued for some, after which Bryan ended up challenging Wyatt for a Universal Championship brawl. The Fiend responded with a 'yes'. After the altercation, the Miz officially stated that Wyatt and Bryan will fight each other during the upcoming Survivor Series pay-per-view event. The event will take place at the Allstate Arena near Chicago on November 24.
