'Bring him home': Netizens demand CM Punk's return in WWE after he gets fired from AEW

Following the reports of his backstage altercation with Jack Perry, CM Punk's contract with AEW has been terminated. He made his debut in the squared circle of AEW in 2020 and since then it has been a tumultuous stint filled with injuries and skirmishes. However, it has now ended and fans want him to come back to the dais that made him the global superstar that he is.

Days after heading in as a part of the starting bout of AEW's biggest pay-per-view show, ALL-In, CM Punk has been shown the exit doors. Reportedly he and Jack Perry went physical behind the scenes on the day All-In was scheduled. It has also come out that during the scuffle, CM Punk lunged towards AEW president Tony Khan and threatened to quit the company. Subsequently, he's been fired from the organisation.
