Restaurants themed around a sport, TV show or a movie are fairly common these days. Harry Potter-themed restaurants, Game of Thrones-themed pubs and, of course, the world-famous Disneyland theme parks have been known to captivate attention year-long. A restaurant themed around a single person, however, is a rarity.
The Notorious Restaurant - a tribute to Conor McGregor
It is therefore fitting that martial artist cum boxer Conor McGregor has had a restaurant themed around himself in the quaint little town of Cierna nad Tisou situated in the Kosice Region of Slovakia. What's more? The restaurant has been opened by a lookalike of the Irish fighter. Mikulas Gerenyi is the man in question. Gerenyi has opened a restaurant called, "The Notorious", which features murals of Conor McGregor along the walls of the restaurant. Mikulas Gerenyi also plays his part as Conor McGregor's lookalike by dressing up as the Irish boxer in The Notorious Restaurant.

Conor McGregor also gave a shout out to The Notorious Restaurant on Twitter. Interestingly, The Notorious Restaurant also serves Conor McGregor'snew whiskey, Proper No. Twelve. Mikulas Gerenyi was quoted as saying that it would be a dream come true if Conor McGregor visited his restaurant. Gerenyi also hopes to become a distributor for Conor McGregor's whiskey in his home country of Slovakia, along with Hungary and the Czech Republic. With Conor McGregor giving a shoutout to his lookalike's new restaurant, Gerenyi's dream of hosting McGregor in The Notorious Restaurant could very well be a possibility in the future.
