“Accident Se Sympathy Le Raha Shameless Person:” Pant Got Trolled For Posting His Transition Video
Rishabh Pant trolled on social media after sharing transition video, despite India's historic ICC T20 World Cup 2024 win.
India registered a historic win against South Africa in the ICC T20 World Cup Final 2024. And they have cleared the 13-year drought of ICC trophies and the 17 years wait for the World Cup. All of the players performed on merit and stood up when the team needed to.
But due to the failures in the knockout matches, some of the players were trolled badly by the fans on social media after the finals. And one of them was Rishabh Pant. Rishabh Pant, who had been out of the game for almost 16 months, made a comeback that no one had imagined. He had an amazing IPL season and was preferred as the first-choice keeper for the World Cup in the USA.
Pant in this World Cup got the chance to play at number 3 as Virat Kohli was opening the innings with skipper Rohit Sharma. Pant scored a total of 171 runs in all 8 matches, which he got at an average of 24.42 with a high score of 42 runs and a strike rate of 142 runs. And the 42 run knock came against Pakistan when the team was having a collapse.
Rishabh Pant also scored the highest runs for India in the group stage of this T20 World Cup, which was 96. But he failed to perform the same in the Super 8 and the knockout stages. Although the team didn’t suffer with this and went on to win the title in the finals. But fans on social media trolled Rishabh Pant as he shared a transition video of him walking with crutches to lift the trophy on June 29 with the team. As a cricket fan, the video moved all of us, but the comments under the video were telling a different story.
Check out the video:
Rishabh Pant shared the video with a caption that reads, “Blessed, Humbled & Grateful. God has its own plan.”
And as the video was posted, people in the comment section started trolling him for the duck he scored in the finals.
