Rohit Sharma-led Team India are under a new coaching staff, led by Gautam Gambhir. The Indian team's next assignment will be against Bangladesh. India will host their neighbours in a two-match Test series and three-match T20Is. Prior to the Bangladesh series, few of the superstar Indian players will play the Duleep Trophy, India's premier domestic trophy. The Indian cricket team is in a transitional phase, atleast in the T20Is, and the onus will be on Morne Morkel and Gautam Gambhir to lead the team through it.
Matter Of Earning Their Trust: Albie Morkel
Albie Morkel's name as bowling coach of India had started doing the rounds after Gautam Gambhir took over as the India Head Coach. Gambhir and Morkel's association goes back a long way. Gambhir and Morkel both were a part of KKR's victorious2014 team. Morkel also served as the bowling coach of Lucknow Super Giants when Gambhir was the mentor of the side.
It will be a tough road ahead of Morkel as he will have the responsibility of shaping up India's next generation across formats. Morne's brother Albie feels that it is a big responsibility and the former Kolkata Knight Riders and South Africa player will have to earn the trust of their star players first. Albie also named one Indian pacer that his brother Morne would love to work with.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made it a norm that India's international players will have to go through the process of playing domestic cricket. This has also been done keeping in mind the fact that Australia host India for a five-match Test series later this year in November. India take on Bangladesh next in a two-match Test series and these games will be crucial for the team to identify their key players.
