Gautam Gambhir 's Biggest Challenge as Head Coach
Gautam Gambhir has had a mixed start to his coaching stint with Team India. Under his leadership, India won the T20 series against Sri Lanka but lost the ODI series, which came as a setback for him as it was the first time in 27 years when Sri Lanka had beaten India in a bilateral ODI series. Nevertheless, Gambhir will get the opportunity to eliminate the stains.
Next up, India will take on Bangladesh in Test and T20 series and following New Zealand will tour India for a Test series. However, what may turn out to be the biggest challenge for him would be the tour that will follow. Later in the year, India will travel to Australia and the onus would be on the current lot to defend the Border Gavaskar Trophy.
