BCCI unveil squad for upcoming U-19 World Cup and tri-nation series in South Africa
Following the conclusion of the tri-series, the India U-19 team will shift its focus to preparations for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Under-19 World Cup.
The Junior Selection Committee has announced the India U-19 Men’s squad for the upcoming tri-series in South Africa and the subsequent ICC Men’s U-19 World Cup in 2024. The tri-series, featuring India, England, and South Africa, is set to commence on December 29, 2023, with the final slated for January 10, 2024.
Following the conclusion of the tri-series, the India U-19 team will shift its focus to preparations for the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Under-19 World Cup. India are placed in Group A alongside Bangladesh, Ireland, and the USA. The U-19 World Cup will kick off for India on January 20, 2024, with a match against Bangladesh in Bloemfontein.
Subsequently, India will face Ireland and the USA in their next two group matches on January 25 and 28, respectively. The final of the prestigious tournament is set for February 11, 2024, in Benoni.
