Why were Kohli & Rohit kept off from the white-ball squad?
The absence of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli from the ODI and T20I squad may be unsettling. Despite their outstanding performance in the ODI World Cup, the squad's A-list players will take a break from the white-ball format, a request they sought from the Indian Cricket Board, which they granted.
The tweet by BCCI added that Mohammed Shami, the team's star World Cup performer, is currently going through medical treatment, and his availability in the squad will remain subject to fitness.
