As the dispute over Team India's participation for Champions Trophy 2025 continues, the Pakistan Cricket Board have organized a title tour in the nation, which would feature the ICC title won by Pakistan Cricket in 2017 at The Oval. All the regions fall in the disputed area of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The tour was organized in the host nation in order to enhance the hype for the tournament, which is set to take place from February-March 2025. Team India had traveled to PAK for the Asia Cup that year, and it was the last time they visited there to compete in matches. Both teams participated in an ODI and T20I series in India in 2012–13, India and Pakistan have not had bilateral cricket relations after that.The 2023 Asia Cup, which was hosted in Pakistan, had to be done under the hybrid model after Team India did not travel to Pakistan. Instead, all of India's matches, including the final, were held in Sri Lanka.
