Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli has been in the limelight after his health issues have become a concern for the fans. The 52-year-old has been struggling with health-related problems and has not been in the best shape lately. The former India cricketer was admitted to a hospital situated in Thane on December 21, 2024.

Big Concern Surrounding Vinod Kambli's Health

Vinod Kambli had been admitted to Akruti Hospital, Thane on Saturday. The former Team India cricketer's health took a dip and he has been kept under the observation at the medical facility. Reports claim that necessary tests are also being conducted. Kambli's health recently sparked concerns among his fans after he was spotted meeting Sachin Tendulkar at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park.

Few weeks ago, several video footages surfaced where Kambli was not even able to walk properly.

Member Of The 1983 World Cup Come Forward To Aid Kambli

Vinod Kambli's contributions to the Indian cricket team are unmatched. In times of need, members of the 1983 World Cup have offered to assist the former cricketer with the necessary aid. During an appearance alongside Vickey Lalwani in one of his YouTube videos, Kambli has graciously accepted their offer and is ready to go into rehab.

"I’m ready to go for rehab. I want to go there because I don’t fear anything. My family is with me," Kambli said during the interaction.

The former cricketer also revealed that he received assistance from Ajay Jadeja and ex-India pacer Abey Kuruvilla.

Kambli has played 17 Test matches and 104 ODI matches for the Indian cricket team. With over 3000 runs at the international level, the cricketer holds the record as the fastest Indian batter to score 1000 test runs. He achieved the feat in 14 innings, a record which stands intact to date.
