Stumps were flying all over the place when South African pacer Junior Dala bowled an inch-perfect yorker to get rid off explosive batsman Chris Gayle during the match between Nelson Mandela Bay Giants and Jozi Stars on Saturday in the Mzansi Super League.
It all happened on the penultimate ball of the fourth over while Gayle was batting as he was outfoxed by a fast, unplayable delivery from the 29-year old Dala. It is not often that bowlers have succeeded in dismissing the West Indian star in that fashion.

Temba Bavuma elected to bat first after Jozi Stars won the toss. Gayle opened the innings with Reeza Hendricks. The southpaw started in his usual way as he slashed a wide one from Junior Dala for a six.
But Dala's comeback delivery was absolutely spot-on as the right arm quick managed to execute an inch-perfect yorker that crept past Gayle’s defence to shatter the stumps. It was a 146 km/hr delivery by Dala, which sent the stumps went flying.
The hosts’ batsmen didn’t justify their captain's decision as they were bundled out for 108 in 18.5 overs. Skipper Bavuma came in to bat at number 3 and he ended up as the top scorer, scoring 27 of 31 deliveries with the help of two fours. Dala was the pick of the bowlers as he ended up with impressive figures of 4-0-19-3.
The visitors got off to a flyer as a quick 52-run opening stand between Jason Roy (31) and Ben Dunk (50*) which powered the Nelson Mandela Bay Giants' chase. Dunk led his team to victory in the 10th over as he scored his 13th T20 half-century off 30 balls which included four fours and four sixes.
Bay Giants are currently at the top of the points table in the tournament with two wins in three matches, On the other hand, Jozi Stars, the defending champions have had a terrible start to the tournament as they have lost all their four matches and are reeling at the bottom.
