David Warner shined in Australia's 3-0 whitewash of Sri Lanka. The southpaw hit 217 runs and remained not out throughout the series. This wonderful display of batting made Warner the first-ever opener to remain unbeaten in all 3 T20Is of a 3-match series.
Warner came back to form in some style in the first T20I in Adelaide as he smashed a 56-ball 100 to help Australia post 233 before clinching a 134-run win. In the second T20I in Brisbane, Warner again starred with the bat as he set-up a 9-wicket win for the hosts while chasing 118 with a 41-ball 60. In the third T20I in Melbourne, Warner started from where he left in Brisbane. This time Australia chased down 145 in just 17.3 overs as Warner remained unbeaten once again with a 50-ball 57 as Australia completed the whitewash.

The southpaw became the first Australian to score 2000 runs in T20Is. His only on Friday also made him only the second player to hit 100 international sixes in Australia. Former Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist tops the list with 105 sixes at home.
Warner equals Virat Kohli and Colin Munro:
Warner also became only the third batsman in international cricket to score fifties in all three matches of a bilateral T20I series after Virat Kohli and Colin Munro.
Kohli had scored an unbeaten 90, 59 not out, and 50 as he became the first batsman to do so during India's tour of Australia in 2015-16. Colin Munro was the second to achieve this landmark when he hit 53, 66 and 104 against West Indies in 2017-18.
Warner will look to continue his red-hot form when Australia play Pakistan in a three-match T20I series starting Sunday.
