Prasidh Krishna went excessively expensive

It was Prasidh Krishna, who had the onus of defending 21 runs in the last over and as it happened, he failed to hold back the Aussies. Krishna went exorbitantly expensive and finished the match with the sorry figures of 4 overs, no maidens, zero wickets, and 68 runs. Following this heavy beating, Krishna was subjected to criticism, and seemingly paid the ultimate prize of getting dropped from the side for the 4th T20.

Ashish Nehra backs Krishna to become future star

While nothing went in Prasidh Krishna's way and amidst all the flak he has garnered, former India bowler, Ashish Nehra has backed him and termed him as one of the future stars.

"You are talking about a guy who has not played much cricket. But there's no shortage of talent when you talk of someone like Prasidh Krishna. He's definitely one of India's future stars and let's hope that from here he's only going to get better. He's someone who can bowl a good yorker. I know it's difficult to bowl on a wet ground and a flat pitch, but in these kinds of situations, you definitely back your yorker." Nehra told Jio Cinema.
