Rohit Sharma in T20 World Cup 2024:
Changing the playing style is a very difficult thing, and after playing for almost 15 years, it is tougher. But after the 2022 T20 World Cup Semi-Final defeat, Rohit completely changed his style and started attacking the opposition from the first ball. And because of this approach by the whole team, we stayed unbeatable in the tournament and won.
Rohit Sharma scored the second-most runs in the tournament, whereas he scored the most runs for India. He had 257 runs from the eight innings at an average of 36.71 and with a strike rate of 156.70. He also scored three fifties.
The knock of 92 (41) runs will always be remembered as one of the finest knocks in the T20 World Cup. After Virat Kohli got out early, Rohit Sharma took charge against the Aussie bowlers and smashed them all around the park.
