After beating both the hosts of the Asia Cup 2023 in their last two matches, the Indian cricket team has already qualified for the finals of the multi-nation Asian tournament. Team India seems to have found the answers to all the questions they faced ahead of the tournament. The biggest positive that the Indian team has received till now from the tournament is the form of batter KL Rahul. Rahul, who was returning to the team after a long injury, slammed a century against Pakistan in his first match of the tournament. and played a steady knock of 39 runs against Sri Lanka.

Is KL Rahul Team India's answer for the number 4 position in the ODI World Cup? 

The Indian cricket team management has tried a bunch of players in the number four position during the last three to four years. However, the team is still yet to find the answer for one of their biggest and they still going on with their hunt for the answer. With the Indian team all set to begin it ODI World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia on October 8, batter KL Rahul can be one permanent solution for the Indian team's longly debated question.

Team India batter KL Rahul has been one of the consistent performers for the Indian team, for the last two years. Rahul has been in poor form in Test cricket, which led to the snub of his Test vice-captaincy and place. However, the right-handed Karnakata batter averages at 58.66 at the number four position. In the eight ODI innings he has played at the number four batting position, KL Rahul has scored 352 runs with two hundreds.

Team India to face Bangladesh in their last match of the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s

The Indian cricket team is currently placed at the number 1 position in the Super 4s Asia Cup 2023 points table. The Indian team achieved thumping victories over Pakistan and Sri Lanka by 228 and 41 runs respectively in their last two matches. With Bangladesh and Sri Lanka already out of the tournament, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will face each other in a virtual final of the tournament on September 14. On the other hand, the 'Men in Blue', will be playing Bangladesh on September 15, 2023, ahead of the big final.
